DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team concluded the most successful regular season in team history Saturday, falling to No. 19 Mercy 12-6 in an East Coast Conference game between nationally ranked teams.
Seniors
Emily Tomei and
Lindsey Brinkel both notched two goals and one assist to lead the No. 16 Redhawks (11-1, 4-1 ECC). Senior

Alexis Grant also scored for Roberts.
The teams were tied 1-1 early in the first half before Mercy (11-1, 5-0 ECC) used a 5-0 run to pull away. The Mavericks led 8-3 at intermission.

Natalie Arieno made six saves for Roberts. Junior
Kelsey Simmons topped the Redhawks with six draw controls and graduate student
Tiffany Melendez caused three turnovers.
The Redhawks will host an ECC Tournament semifinal at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 6.
