Mercyhurst Invitational
On October 8-9, the Redhawks attended the Mercyhurst Invite (hosted by Mercyhurst University) to open their season in Erie, PA. The ladies finished with a 3-7, earning a 6th place finish at the event.

During Saturday's traditional matches event, freshman Amelia Ponto led the ladies with a 171.0 average, filling 72% of her frames, and making 58.5% of her spares. Sophomore Angelica Polcini chipped in with a 161.0 average, filling 68% of her frames, and making 56.8% of her spares.

For Sunday's baker matches event, Ponto shined for the full day in the anchor position, leading the ladies with a 196.7 average, striking 51.9% of the time, and filling 81.5% of her frames. Junior Paige Barkley added a 171 average for the team.

Dual vs. D'Youville University 
On October 15, the Redhawks hosted conference rival D'Youville University in three traditional matches, at Bowl-A-Roll Lanes in Rochester, NY. The ladies finished with a 1-2 record.

Junior Paige Barkley led the girls with a 198.3 average, putting together games of 225 and 210 for a 595 set. She made 71.4% of her spares and had a strike percentage of 53.3%.

Junior Mykenzie Burnett averaged 195.7 for the day, adding a team high game of 239; she converted 83.3% of her spares, and had a strike percentage of 40.0%.

Sophomore Angelica Polcini added a 208 game, and freshman Amelia Ponto chipped in with a 204 game.

The ladies now have an overall record of 4-9.
