ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan College women's cross country team ranks second in the East Coast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Redhawks, who have won seven consecutive ECC titles, received three first-place votes and 49 points. Daemen garnered five first-place votes and 52 points.
St. Thomas Aquinas ranks third with 38 points, followed by Molloy (36), D'Youville (14), Queens and Staten Island (13) and the University of the District of Columbia (9).
Kassandra Nolet of Daemen was voted Preseason Runner of the Year.
Roberts opens its season on Sept. 1 at Houghton College. The Redhawks will host the ECC Championships on Nov. 5.
