ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three members of the Roberts Wesleyan swimming and diving teams set records today in a dual meet with Hobart College and William Smith College.
The men's team defeated Hobart, 124-15 but the women fell to William Smith, 133-100.
The diving team saw success today with both
Emma Dicob and Will Rugaber setting new program records.
Dicob began her afternoon by breaking her own record in the 1-meter (6 dives) with a score of 153.05. The freshman followed that up with setting the program standard in the 1-meter (11 dives) totaling a score of 209.50.
Rugaber handily won both diving events of the meet, but set the new program record in the 1-meter (11 dives) with a score of 200.75.
Mya June continued her dominance in the pool as the other record setting performance on the night. June won two events and broke her own school and pool record in the 100-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 54.73.
Gabe Rivers also won two events for the Redhawks including the 50-yard freestyle (22.79) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:45.50).
Roberts will travel to Oswego on Saturday for the next meet.
