ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Four different players scored goals on Wednesday night as the Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team had a 4-2 come-from-behind win over Daemen.
Luke Hanes scored the game-winner in the 68th minute. It was Hanes' second goal of the season. Roberts scored three goals in the second half after being down 2-1 in the first half to take down the Wildcats.
Daemen opened up the scoring in the fourth minute of play when Dennis Montero Guerrero found the back of the net. The Redhawks answered with a goal by
Joshua Jones in the 16th minute, assisted on by
Luis Cataldi Milan.
The Wildcats jumped back on top again before the end of the first half with a goal in the 37th minute.
It was all Roberts from there on out as the Redhawks scored three unanswered goals.
The offensive run began in the 63rd minute when freshman
Myles Palmer scored off a feed from
Micah Cornfield to tie the game at 2-2. Hanes then had what would be the game-winner just under five minutes later.

Tamas Nagy added an insurance goal in the 78th minute to help ensure the victory for the Redhawks. Nagy's goal was assisted on by
Papouche Schmoyer.
Roberts (4-5-4, 3-2-2 ECC) currently sits in the No. 4 spot of the East Coast Conference standings. The team will host Shaw University on Saturday at 1 p.m. for a non-conference game. The Redhawks will close out the regular season on Oct. 28 on the road against top-seeded St. Thomas Aquinas.
