The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team has been selected to finish ninth in the conference, according to the East Coast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Redhawks earned 17 points in the poll. St. Thomas Aquinas was chosen first in the poll with 75 points and four of the nine first place votes. Daemen and the University of the District of Columbia also received first place votes.

Last season Roberts finished the season with a 4-19 overall record and 3-13 conference record. It was only the second time the Redhawks have had a losing record in over 13 years.

Roberts will begin the season in their normal routine with the Redhawks Classic on Fri, Nov. 10 at home against Felician University. Tip off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
