ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Graduate student
Georgia Haverlock converted a jump shot to give the Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team a four-point lead with 8:03 to play, but visiting Lock Haven University outscored the Redhawks 18-6 the rest of the way to earn a 55-47 non-conference win on Saturday afternoon at the Voller Athletic Center.
Haverlock scored a game-high 15 points for Roberts (2-5).
Sophomore guard
Marianna Freeman added eight points and three steals and junior guard
Zhane Holmes pulled down eight rebounds for Roberts.
The Redhawks return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Monday for a non-conference game at The College of Saint Rose.
