Three members of the Roberts Wesleyan men's indoor track and field team were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-East Region list.

Ryan Karker,
Blake Kasper, and
Lee Sortore all earned regional honors for accomplishing a top-five performance in an event across all schools participating in the east region.

Karker was named all-region for the 800m and mile. The senior ran 1:51.05 in the 800m and was second overall in the region. In the mile, Karker was ranked third with a time of 4:11.90.

Kasper made the list for the 3,000m and 5,000m races. The junior from Orchard Park, N.Y. was fifth in the 3,000m with a time of 8:36.83 and first in the East region in the 5,000m, running 14:53.85.

Sortore made the list for three events, including the mile, 3,000m and 5,000m. The senior was the top mark in the region in the 3,000m by over 10 seconds with a time of 8:18.28. Sortore was also fourth in the 5,000m, running 14:56.05 and fifth in the mile with a time of 4:15.83.

Roberts will kick off the spring outdoor season on Thurs. March 16 at the Redhawks Invitational.
