Swimming and Diving Defeats Pitt-Bradford

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Roberts Wesleyan men's and women's swimming and diving defeated Pitt-Bradford at home on Saturday afternoon for their senior day meet with the women coming away with a 159-61 win and the men getting a 145-84 victory. 

Will Rugaber and Emma Dicob set new records in the 3-meter dive. Rugaber won the event scoring 244.95 points and Dicob scored 242.30.

Roberts won 19 of the 26 events on the day. 

Three different swimmers on the women's team were triple winners with Rennee Rozler, Mya June and Angelina Trapp all getting wins in three events. 

In the men's swimming action the team had three swimmers pick up a pair of first place finishes. Andon Fedor, Tommy Booth, Miguel Ocana each won two separate events to help lead the Redhawks to the win. 

Both teams are now 4-4 this season. The Redhawks will travel to Oswego on Sat. Jan. 20 for a tri meet with Hobart and William Smith and Oswego State.
