OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan swimming and diving teams faced off against Oswego and Hobart and William Smith in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon. The men's team came away with a 171-51 win over Hobart.
Freshman
Miguel Ocana Martin was a double winner on the day with first place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.94) and the 100-yard butterfly (56.76).
Mya June won the 100-yard butterfly for the Redhawks, touching the wall in 1:02.75.
Roberts performed well in the dive events with a top-two finish in each of the events.
Sidney Simmons took first in the 1-meter (257.75) and second in the 3-meter (228.60).
Emma Dicob was second in the 1-meter (240.95) and first in the 3-meter (234.90).
Will Rugaber was first in the 3-meter dive (257.25) and second in the 1-meter (234.40).
Jack D'Ambrosia took second in the 3-meter (226).
Roberts will have divers compete again on Sunday at Hobart and William Smith for another chance at hitting NCAA-qualifying marks. The Redhawks next full meet will be the Metropolitan Conference Championships on Feb. 15 through Feb. 18.
