ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Trailing by 10 points with 57 seconds to play, the Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team staged a huge comeback against Lake Erie College Saturday afternoon in the Voller Athletic Center.
Marianna Freeman's second three-pointer within the game's final 11 seconds brought the Redhawks within two points at 81-79. Roberts stole the ensuing inbounds pass, but
Erin Frazier's shot at the buzzer just missed, allowing the visiting escaped with the two-point victory.
Freeman led Roberts (0-6) with 18 points and 12 rebounds and Frazier, a freshman, established career-highs with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Georgia Haverlock scored 12 points as did freshman
Meaghan Doherty, who established a career-high.
Lauren McCrea chipped in 11 for the Redhawks, who placed five players in double figures.
Roberts outscored Lake Erie 30-19 in the fourth quarter and and out-rebounded the Storm 50-39 for the game.
The Redhawks return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 for a non-conference game at Mansfield University.
