AMHERST, NY – Senior Danielle Jaeger and freshman Kaylee Stephens each rolled games of over 200 for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Bowling team Saturday but the Redhawks dropped a 2-1 overall decision to Daemen in the first dual match of the season.
Roberts (10-16 overall) won the first game with a 914-856 win in the five-person team game but fell in the two Baker system games as the Wildcats scored wins of 950-872 and 864-804 to post the victory.
Stephens had the high score of the day for the Redhawks with a 227 in the opening game and Jaeger added a 214 in the first Baker matchup.
Roberts will be back at Daemen November 23-24 for the Storm Fall Classic to close out the first semester of matches.
