ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's bowling team concluded its 2023-2024 season on Saturday at the East Coast Conference Championships. The Redhawks had a strong start to the tournament before falling in bracket play.
On Friday during team baker play the Redhakws went 4-1. Roberts kicked off with an 856-799 win over Molloy followed by a 954-952 victory over Daemen. The team then fell to Mercyhurst, 879-846, but rallied and beat St. Thomas Aquinas, 939-658 and D'Youville, 939-922 in the final two matches.
Roberts earned the fifth seed for Saturday's double elimination bracket play but fell to Kutztown, 4-1 and then Bryant, 4-0.
Mercyhurst went on to win the ECC title for the second straight season.
Mykenzie Burnett was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Roberts finished the season with a 31-25 overall record.
