ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team trailed Daemen by two points 16 minutes into Saturday afternoon's East Coast Conference game at the Voller Athletic Center, but the visiting Wildcats used a 34-16 advantage in points in the paint to earn a 70-46 victory.
Roberts pulled within 22-20 on a three-point basket by freshman guard
Meaghan Doherty with 4:12 to play in the second quarter before Daemen closed the game with a 48-26 run to remain unbeaten in ECC play.

Georgia Haverlock led Roberts (1-15, 1-7 ECC) with 12 points and Doherty added 11. Senior
Grace Dow scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Redhawks.
Roberts returns to action on Friday for an ECC matchup against Mercy. Tip-off at the Voller Athletic Center on Alumni Night is set for 6 p.m.
