Big Fourth Quarter Fuels Win Over Mansfield

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman guard Jada Mushat scored nine of her 22 points to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team to a 76-69 non-conference victory over Mansfield Wednesday night at the Voller Athletic Center.

Freshman Aniyah Jones added 15 points and 7 rebounds and junior Zhara Adeyemi contributed 14 points and eight rebounds for the Redhawks. Roberts (1-1) outscored the Mounties 23-16 in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Erin Frazier scored seven points and pulled down nine rebounds and freshman Sarah Seyfang added seven points. Freshman Tierra Hendricks led Roberts with seven assists and four steals.

The Roberts reserves outscored Mansfield 33-12.

The Redhawks will travel to Cedarville for a 4 p.m. non-conference game on Saturday.
