ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Abigail Barnard earned MVP honors while freshman Kaylee Stephens and junior Amelia Ponto were named to the All-Tournament team leading the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Bowling team to the overall team championship title Saturday at Bowlero Empire in Webster.

Roberts (34-27) won all four matches Saturday with wins over Daemen University, Hilbert College, D'Youville University and Penn State Behrend.

The Redhawks started the tournament with a season-high 1,050 score and a nearly 200-pin victory over Daemen. Roberts won the match 1,050-859 as Stephens rolled a 240 game and Barnard had an impressive 258 game to start the day.

Stephens and Barnard each added another 200-game in the second match of the day as Roberts downed Hilbert 908-763. Barnard rolled a 211 and Stephens added a 238 for the Redhawks.

In the third match of the day, Ponto stepped up and rolled a team-leading 233 as Roberts defeated D'Youville 940-760.

The Redhawks capped the tournament with a tight 831-811 victory over Penn State Behrend.

Barnard finished with a tournament-leading 202.60 average. Stephens was second in the final standings with her average of 197.20 and Ponto was fourth overall at 192.40.

Roberts will have a pair of dual matches to close out the regular season at D'Youville March 9 and at Pitt Bradford March 15. The East Coast Conference Tournament runs form March 21-23 in Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania.
