ROCHESTER, NY – Senior Emma Blumenstock led the explosive offense for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Lacrosse team Saturday as she recorded 10 points and moved into second place on the all-time Roberts scoring list as the Redhawks downed the University of the District of Columbia 17-0 on Senior Day.
Blumenstock finished with four goals and six assists with her 10th point coming as time expired in the second quarter. The point gave her 267 career points to earn her a tie for second place in the all-time career points list with Lindsey Brinkel who ended her career in 2022 with 109 goals and 158 assists for 267 career points. Blumenstock currently has 128 goals and 139 assists for her 267 career points.
Senior Tannah O'Neill-Blake had four points on two goals and two assists and fellow senior Annie Mulhall chipped in two goals and an assist. Freshman Lia MacDougall added four goals and a game-high six draw controls for Roberts (6-6 overall, 4-0 ECC).
Seniors Blumenstock, O'Neill-Blake, Mulhall along with goalkeeper Shawna Lesmeries and defenders Allison Clahane and Erin Quinn were honored in the pre-game ceremony.
Roberts will finish the regular season on the road with games at Daemen Saturday and at Mercy the following weekend before the ECC Tournament.
