ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team went cold in the fourth quarter and dropped a 71-51 decision to Mercy in an East Coast Conference game at the Voller Athletic Center.
The Redhawks trailed by six points, 49-43, after the third quarter but made just two of 14 shots from the floor in the final 10 minutes.
Freshman
Jada Mushat led Roberts (3-9, 0-4 ECC) with 13 points. Mushat has scored in double figures six times this season.
Sarah Seyfang and
Erin Frazier both scored nine points. Frazier led Roberts with seven rebounds and four blocks.
The Redhawks return to action on Jan. 21 for an ECC game at the University of the District of Columbia.
