ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman
Mason Simmons made five saves and earned his first collegiate win as the Roberts Wesleyan University men's soccer team defeated Bloomsburg 2-0 in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.
Simmons, who was making his second career start, made two saves in the first half and three in the second for his first career shutout for the Redhawks (3-7-2).

Ewan O'Dwyer-Hall opened the scoring for the Redhawks, heading in a corner kick by
Cooper Kerridge in the 15
th minute.
Roberts doubled its lead 2:14 into the second half as junior
Davi Moretzsohn completed a beautiful give-and-go with
Archie Murphy for his third goal of the season.
The Redhawks are off this weekend and will host Bryant and Stratton at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 on Redhawks Turf Field.
