EVANSVILLE, IN – Senior Emma Dicob represented the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Swimming and Diving team in the NCAA Division II Championships for the first time in school history and came away with a 20th place finish in the 3-meter diving event.
In the preliminary round of 11 dives, Dicob recorded three dives with at least 30 points and one with score above 40 and finished with a total score of 350.20.
A pair of dives in the middle of the competition were two of her best on the day. Her fifth dive was an inward 1 ½ somersault in the pike position and she scored a 37.80. Dicob followed that with a score of 43.20 on a 2 ½ somersault in the tuck position to highlight her scores.
The senior will continue her NCAA experience Saturday with the 1-meter diving competition.
