WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senior
Kadie Tierney and sophomore
Lia MacDougall each accounted for eight points as the Roberts Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team defeated the University of the District of Columbia 21-0 in an East Coast Conference game on Thursday.
MacDougall equaled her career-high with seven goals and registered one assist and Tierney scored four goals and dished out four assists for the Redhawks (2-7, 1-1 ECC). Senior
Ella Dossier added six points on six assists.
Junior
Alison Dioguardi added four goals, one assist and six draw controls and junior
Avery Barnhill scored three goals for Roberts, which led 13-0 at halftime.
Freshman
Erica Savage scored two goals and added one assist and classmate
Brooke Guelli finished with a goal and an assist for Roberts.
Senior
Emma Taylor earned five draw controls and freshman
Josella Harrison made two saves to pick up the win in goal.
Roberts returns home for an ECC game against Saint Thomas Aquinas College at 3 p.m. on April 4.
