Dossier Scores 200th Career Point In Win Over Molloy

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Senior Ella Dossier scored her 200th career point as the Roberts Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team completed its regular season with a 13-5 win over Molloy in an East Coast Conference game on Saturday afternoon.

It did not take Dossier, who entered the game with 199 career points, to reach the milestone as she opened the scoring with a player-up goal just 1:53 into the game. Senior Kadie Tierney assisted on the play.

Dossier, who is the fifth player in program history to reach 200 points, and now has 44 goals and 161 assists for 205 career points, one behind Loren Dunn on the all-time list. She leads the ECC in assists with 53 this season.

Sophomore Lia MacDougall scored five of her six goals in the second half as the Redhawks (6-8, 5-1 ECC) outscored Molloy 8-1, which closed the first half with three straight goals and trailed 5-4 at the break. MacDougall, who added four ground balls and caused four turnovers, tops the ECC with 56 goals this season.

Tierney finished with two goals and two assists and junior Alison Dioguardi added two goals, and assist and six draw controls.

Freshman Erica Savage contributed a goal, two assists and caused four turnovers and senior Emma Taylor secured five draw controls. Freshman Josella Harrison made eight saves.

Roberts, which had already secured the No. 2 seed in the ECC Championship Tournament prior to Saturday's game, will host Daemen in the semifinals at 6 p.m on Wednesday.
