Three in a Row for Roberts Athletics

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan University Athletics enjoyed unprecedented success during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Redhawks won East Coast Conference (ECC) Championships in seven sports and secured their third consecutive ECC Commissioner's Cup. The Commissioner's Cup is emblematic of the ECC's top program across its 19 championship sports and results were announced at the ECC meetings hosted by Molloy University in Rockville Centre, NY, May 28.

Roberts, which secured ECC titles in men's cross country, women's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's indoor track and field, women's indoor track and field and men's volleyball, earned 89.5 points to edge second-place Molloy by a point. St. Thomas Aquinas College ranked third with 69.75 points. Molloy used ECC titles in Baseball and Men's Lacrosse to close the gap in the Spring season.

"I am extremely proud to accept this tremendous honor on behalf of Roberts Wesleyan University," Roberts Executive Director of Athletics Bob Segave said. "Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaches for their extraordinary efforts this year and thank you to our staff, administration, students, alumni and fans who do so much to support our programs and help to create an environment that inspires excellence. Today is a great day to be a Redhawk."

Roberts joins Long Island University - Post (2012-18) and Adelphi University (2000-03) as the only ECC institutions to win the Commissioner's Cup in three successive years. The Redhawks won the Cup in 2023-24, again in 2024-25 and this season for its three-year run.
