Biography
Marissa Bunce begins her second season at Roberts Wesleyan College in 2010-2011.
2009-2010 – Bunce was named the AMC Freshman of the Year. She was an honorable mention All – AMC selection and Second Team All – NCAA East Region. Bunce was an All-Tournament selection for the Wendy’s College Classic. She averaged 11.4 points and 3.9 rebounds including a career high 28 points against Malone. She scored 74 three pointers, which ranks third in school history for a season. She also contributed 75 assists and 55 steals.
High School –Marissa came to Roberts from Newark High School in Newark, NY, where she helped lead her team to a New York State Class A Championship in 2008-2009. She was a member of the Class A Section Five Champions in 2006-2007. She was an All – Greater Rochester second team selection.
Personal – Marissa is a Psychology / Education major. She is the daughter of Mark and Debbie Bunce. Marissa has twin brothers, Carter and Garrett. Marissa enjoys playing softball and soccer.
