Biography
2008 – 2009 – Still at FLCC, Williams was selected as Pre-season First Team All-American. For the second consecutive season, she was honored as Player of the Year by the Mid-State Athletic Conference and Region III Division III. Williams was named to the All-Tournament Team in the regional tournament and helped FLCC to a 26-6 record. Nationally ranked in all categories, Williams averaged 22.3 points, 16.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.3 blocks. She became the school’s leading scorer with 1124 points during her two-year career at FLCC, including tying the school’s record for points in a game with 40 points against SUNY Delhi.
2007 – 2008 – Williams attended Finger Lakes Community College where she averaged 15.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.1 steals. Williams was recognized as the New York State Junior College Player of the Year by the Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY), Player of the Year in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, and Region III Division III Player of the Year. She was a second team All-American selection and was named to the All-Tournament team in the regional tournament.
High School – Williams attended Wilson Magnet High School in Rochester. During her senior season, she scored her 1,000th point and was honored as a Ronald McDonald All Star. Wilson was named to the All Greater Rochester second team, 2005-2007. She was also named as her team’s MVP all four years of play.
Personal – Brittany is the daughter of Michele Williams and has three older siblings, Bobby, Danielle, and Brandon. She is an education major at Roberts. She enjoys watching movies, writing poetry, and spending time at recreation centers in her hometown where she helps kids develop their athletic abilities.
