2014 (sophomore): At the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, Monroe ran 21:12.7, just a few seconds off of her performance from the year prior…The East Coast Conference Championships provided her best collegiate best time of 20:39.5 and a 39^th place finish was a solid improvement from her freshman campaign and a respectable way to close out the season.
 
2013 (freshman): Monroe began her freshman year participating in four 5-kilometer races… At the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, Monroe finished in a strong 21:07.5…  Next was the Highlander Homecoming Invitational, where Monroe finished 13^th place in 21:18.1…  Closing out the season, Monroe fittingly ran a season best time of 20:53.8 at the East Coast Conference Championships, good for 41^st place.
 
High School: 2013 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School…  Made her team’s indoor track Distance Medley team and the outdoor track 4x800 team that broke their school record.
 
Personal: Born August 15, 1995 to John and Lydia Monroe… Has a younger brother, Aaron...  Monroe enjoys working with children, watching Disney movies, as well as mountain climbing (specifically the Adirondack Mountains)…  Monroe lists her favorite quote as, “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”…  Her favorite parts of being on the Roberts team include having friends who feel like family members, praying before practices and meets, preseason camp, and Bible studies....  Psychology major.
