2014 (sophomore): To begin his sophomore year, Pease posted a 26:32.6 performance that was .2 seconds off of what he did just the year before… At the Greater Louisville Classic, Pease set his personal record 8k at 26:17.2… Despite injury Pease did his best to return for Regionals, and did so with a phenomenal 32:35.2 10k performance; Pease was the 5th Roberts finisher as he helped the team qualify for the NCAA Division II National meet in the first year of eligibility.
2013 (freshman): In his first 8k, the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, Pease finished in 26:32.4, coming in 11th place… At the East Coast Conference Championships, Pease ran 26:36.5 for 17th place in the conference... To close out his strong freshman year, Pease ran a season best time of 26:29.8 at the NCCAA Championships, placing him 24th.
High School: 2013 graduate of Greece Athena High School... Some cross country racing highlights include a 9th place finish at the 2012 New York State Cross Country Championships (15:57) and 14th place at Nike Cross Regionals NY (16:23)... Track times include a 2:30 in the 1000m and 4:12.3 in the 1600m (5th overall) at the 2013 NYS Track meet, which he names as his top high school running accomplishment.
Personal: Born May 31, 1995 to Eric and Amy Pease... Has a younger brother, Shane… Pease is a fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoys playing the guitar… He also enjoys snacking on Cheeze-its while hanging out with friends… Criminal Justice major.
