Jennifer Dorr

Jennifer (Scribani) Dorr is an asset to the Roberts Wesleyan College athletic department. She is an outstanding runner and dedicated coach. During her collegiate career at Roberts Wesleyan, Jennifer received NAIA All-American honors in the 3000m and earned multiple NCCAA All-American awards in both cross-country and track and field. Jennifer currently holds the Roberts Wesleyan College record for the mile run and many other top ten performances on the Roberts Wesleyan record board. Her passion for running inspired her to continue her involvement in the sport even after college.  Since graduating, Jennifer has set personal records in the mile (5:01), 3000m (10:12), 5000m (17:35), and 10,000m (37:39) races.

Jennifer has been a part of the coaching staff since 2006. Her years of competitive running and passion for working with college students make her an excellent coach. Among the athletes, she is known as “Aunt Jen” because of her hospitality and delicious pies. She finds that running with the athletes provides another great opportunity to cultivate relationships and set a good example. The team is blessed to have a female mentor with such great character and passion.

Jennifer is also an elementary teacher in the Hilton Central School District. She began there as a long-term substitute in 2009, was offered a full-time probationary position in August 2010, and earned tenure in December 2012. Jennifer and her husband, Andrew, attend Pearce Memorial Church in North Chili and live in Churchville, NY. Their desire is to serve God by working in the lives of college students and they hope to continue that ministry—in partnership—for many years.
