Before Roberts
Competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field at Colonie High School … Received the Clear Award given to senior athletes at Colonie High School who consistently demonstrate leadership and are known for helping the coaches and being a role model to younger athletes. This award only goes to seniors and is only given once each sports season. The award is given once per season and LaFountain received it three times from three different coaches for cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.

I chose Roberts because: “of the faith aspect of the school and the family-like feel that the cross country and track team has. When I first visited for my recruit visit, it automatically felt like home and somewhere that I could see myself being and I knew that was really important being away from home.”
