Christina Hart is entering her third season with the team as the Defensive Coordinator after jumping on board for the 2018 Spring season.
Christina was a stand out player for the Lady Redhawks for four years. As a low defender, she came in as a freshman and immediately made a huge impact.
"Our team has a lot to learn from Christina," Paolini states, "She was a strong and aggressive defender that was not able to be pushed around. Christina commanded her defense her senior year and I have no doubt she will take our defense to the next level as a coach."
Under Christina, in 2019, Tiffany Melenedez earned ECC Second Team as a defender. Melendez had 28 ground balls, 35 caused turnovers, and had only 5 turnovers. Overall, Christina encouraged an active defense earning themselves 193 total caused turnovers, 393 total ground balls, and a .824 clear percentage.
