Mary Flaherty has been working at Roberts for 26 years and is pleased to be serving for a second year as the Faculty Athletic Mentor for Redhawks swimming. Mary’s primary role on campus is leadership in the Office of Career Development but also serves as an academic advisor and teaches for both the General Education and Psychology departments.
Her role as a Faculty Athletic Mentor is to support the team in both their academic and athletic pursuits and to encourage students to pursue excellence in both these areas.
Mary is a Roberts Wesleyan alum with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree from Springfield College in counseling and College Student Personnel.
Outside of Roberts, Mary enjoys time with family, friends, gardening, reading and recommending good books, and of course goof coffee to go with those books.
