Coach Shane Logan brings 18 years of coaching experience and a championship mindset, promoting hard work, leadership development, and having fun to the Roberts Wesleyan Swimming and Diving program.
Coach Shane began his career in 2001, serving as an assistant coach at Nazareth College for Rick Aronberg. That same year, he was hired as the Head Age-Group Coach for Coach Aronberg’s club team, the Greater Rochester Racing Raiders (GRRR). GRRR produced an age-group world No. 1, Olympic Trials qualifiers, national level swimmers, and many Speedo Championships qualifiers.

From 2005-2017, Coach Shane led the Rochester Rapids Swim Team as Head Coach and Program Director. While with the Rapids, he helped grow the team from sixteen swimmers to as many as seventy, leading them to achieve great success during his tenure.
Coach Shane has coached NCAA Division II and III National participants and qualifiers, Jr. National Qualifiers, Niagara LSC Champions and record-breakers, Eastern Zone Speedos Championship Qualifiers, Eastern Zone All-Stars, Section V Champions and NYS Championships swimmers. He has been selected as a coach for multiple Eastern Zone All-Star Teams, and has served on several boards and committees, including a term as the Niagara LSC Senior-Vice Chair, and as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Besides coaching at the club and college level, he has coached high school swimming, Masters swimming, and triathletes.
Coach Shane lives in North Chili, NY with his wife, Jessica, and his children Jacob, Hannah, and Jonah. He currently is the Market Trainer and a Senior Sales Consultant for Cellular Sales - Upstate NY, a Verizon retailer.
