Graduate student Owen White posted a school record in the 3k race Sunday in the Last Chance meet at Boston. White took down the school record in the 3K race as he shaved more than six seconds off his personal best time and beat the school record by two seconds with his time of 8:16.24. The old record was set by Lee Sortore in 2023. The time is the top 3K effort in the East Region this year by just over 16 seconds and the top time in the ECC by nearly 30 seconds.
