“We came out a little sluggish today, but I expected that after a hard fought win against Notre Dame on Saturday night” commented Head Coach Berg. “I also believe the girls were looking forward to a big game on Saturday versus Houghton which could have led to a little loss of focus. Mandi did what she has been doing all year for us and this was a great game for her. Overall we played a strong game and the girls off the bench did a great job of continuing to play our style of play when they stepped on the field.”
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, October 30 at 2:00pm as they travel to Houghton College in their last regular season game of the year. The Raiders are currently 13-2-1 and 8-0-1 in American Mideast Conference play.
