The Raiders came into the last game of the regular season riding a 13 game unbeaten streak and needing just a tie to win the programs first ever conference title. The Raiders came out sluggish and never really recovered as Houghton took it took the Raiders defense for most of the game.  However, the Raiders defense was up to the task as they kept Houghton off the score board earning the point and securing the American Mideast Conference Title.

"We definitely did not play well today" commented Head Coach Dan Berg. "However, defensively we stayed strong and earned the point we needed. Amanda Prestigiacomo played another great game in goal while Morgan Eastlack and Katie Balcerak did a great job as well for us. One of our goals was to win the conference title and we accomplished that. I am proud of the girls and the season they have had. We will learn from this game and get ready for the conference tournament in two week."

The Raiders earned the #1 seed for the conference tournament and will host on November 12th at 4:00pm.  Their opponent will be the winner of the Mt. Vernon versus Cedarville game.
