ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 1, 2011) - The Women's Soccer team fell 2-1 to the visiting Walsh University Cavaliers this afternoon.

The lead didn't stand for long when the Cavaliers struck in the 10th minute. Gina Pinzone was able to poke the ball past Raiders goalkeeper Brianna Maggio in traffic to tie the game.

In the 53rd minute, the Raiders had to play with 10 players the rest of the way when Ashley Drenth was given a red card for a hard tackle just outside the penalty box.

Ten minutes later, Pinzone scored the game winner for the visitors when Raiders goalkeeper Marissa Sell couldn't get a handle on the ball as it barely crossed the line.

With the loss, the Raiders fall to 5-5-0 overall and 2-2 in American Mideast Conference action.

The Raiders little time to rest as they host Daemen College on Wednesday at 7pm.
