Rochester, N.Y. (October 5, 2011) - The Women's Soccer team fell to the visiting Daemen College Wildcats 1-0 this evening.
The lone goal in the game came from the Wildcats' Kelsey O'Leary in the 33rd minute.
The Riaders stuggled to create scoring chances for most of the first half. In the waning minutes of the first half,
Kailey Zorn had two good looks, but couldnt get anything past the Wildcats goalkeep Kayla Hampton.
The home team continued to push in the second half with shots from
Kristina Roberts in the 58th minute and Erika Ludeke in the 84th minute.
The win imporve the Wildcats record to 8-3-0 and 3-1-0 in the conference.
The Raiders fall to 5-6-0 and 2-3-0 in the conference.
The team will travel to Houghton College on Saturday to face the Highlanders at 2pm.
