HOUGHTON, N.Y. (October 8, 2011) - The Women's Volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win against the Houghton College Highlanders this afternoon. The Raider won 25-11, 25-17, 25-20. The Highlanders were unable to get into a rythm despite the support from a large homecoming crowd.
The Raiders were able to jump out to large leads in the first to sets. The third set proved more difficult for the Raiders until they won the final four points to earn the victory.

It was basically a team effort," said Coach Jon Meyers."Everyone worked together and did their part to get the win."
The Raiders were led by
Kendall Havener with 11 kills on 15 attemps and three blocks.
Alexa Antoni finished the match with 15 kills.
Lisa Bierdeman had 39 assists, averaging 13 per set.
The Raiders improve to 14-7 overall and 2-3 in American Mideast Conference action.
The team will travel to Pittsburgh next Saturday where they will visit Carlow University and Point Park University.
