CEDARVILLE, Ohio (November, 12, 2011) – The Men's Basketball team lost its first game of the season this evening 76-51 to the Cedarville University Yellowjackets.
The Raiders struggled from the start and couldn't match up to the size and speed of the Yellowjackets.
Three Yellowjackets scored in double-digits. Zimmy Nwogbo earned a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Austin Foote added 12 points and Marcus Reinke notched 11 points, going 3-4 from behind the arc.
For the Raiders,
Alif Bland scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds.
Mike Stone chipped in 19 points to lead the
Raiders. Stone went 3-5 from 3-point range and shot 7 of 12 from the floor.
The Raiders are now 2-1 on the early season.
The team will play in the Medaille College Tournament this Friday and Saturday. The Raiders will face Medaille on Friday at 6pm.
