ERIE, Pa. (November 26, 2011) - The Men's Basketball team lost 86-61 to the Gannon University Golden Knights in teh Gary Miller Classic consolation game this evening.
The Raiders were unable to control the offensive boards as the Golden Knights grabbed 30 defensive rebounds to the Raiders 14 offensive rebounds. Gannon finished the game outrebounding the Raiders 46 to 32.
Four players for Gannon finished the game with double figure points.
Mike Stone continued his hot streak, scoring 20 points for the Raiders after going 8 for 18. Will Kemp-Harris came off the bnch to go 3 for 4 from beyond the arc, scoring a team high 22 points or the Raiders.
Alif Bland added 11 rebounds, eight points, and nine blocks.
Both teams turned the ball over 20 times.
The loss puts the Raiders at 2-5.
The team turns it's focus on the Wendy's College Classic this week. First round action kicks off the Wednesday.
