BUFFALO, N.Y. (Novmber 5, 2011) - The Women's Soccer team defeated the Daemen College Wildcats 2-1 this afternoon to advance to the American Mideast Conference final next Saturday against rival Houghton College.
Erika Luedke scored in the 9th and 57th minutes to lead the Raiders to thier second consecutive trip to the AMC final.
The Wildcats led in every category against the Raiders. Daemen led 15-10 in shots, 7-5 in shots-on-goal, 5-4 in corner kicks.
The team will take on the Highlanders next Saturday at Houghton. The Highlanders defeated Point Park University 3-0 in the other semifinal.
