The men's tennis team won their third straight match with a 9-0 victory over Cedarville University.
In doubles action, Aram Karapetyan and Enrique Flores defeated Aaron Niemieck and Bobby Eberhard 8-3 at first doubles. In second doubles, Julio Toledo and Beka Buchukuri defeated Kyle Kirby and Kyle DeBoer 8-6. German Michaylyszyn and Robin Lansiquot defeated Quinton Paul and Jared Gerber 8-4 at third doubles.
In first singles, Aram Karapetyan defeated Aaron Niemieck 6-4, 7-5. In second singles, German Michaylyszyn defeated Bobby Eberhard 6-7, 6-4, 10-6. In third singles Julio Toledo defeated Quinton Paul 6-1, 6-2. At fourth and fifth singles, Beka Buchukuri and Enrique Flores won in three sets. Buchukuri defeated Kyle Kirby 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 and Flores defeated Kyle DeBoer 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. In sixth singles, Robin Lansiquot won in straight sets defeating Drew Steinhart 6-0, 6-4.
With the victory the Raiders improve to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the American Mideast Conference. The Raiders are back in action on April 20 at 3:30pm as they travel to SUNY Oswego.
