The men's tennis team won their fourth straight game defeating Rochester Institute of Technology yesterday afternoon 8-1.
The Raiders swept all three doubles matches and won five out of 6 in singles competition. In first doubles, Aram Karapetyan and Enrique Flores defeated Tennyson Sacucedo and Will Abisaliah 9-7. At second and third doubles Beka Buchukuri and Julio Toledo defeated Neville Bilimoria and Larry Hall 8-5, while German Michaylyszyn and Robin Lansiquot defeated Amos Batiste and Max Bogue 8-5.
In singles competition, Aram Karapetyan defeated Tennyson Saucedo 6-3, 6-0. German Michaylyszyn defeated Will Abisaliah 6-1, 6-0 in second singles. Neville Bilimoria defeated Julio Toledo 6-3, 4-6, 11-9 to score the Tigers only point at third singles. Beka Buchukuri defeated Larry Hall 6-1, 6-2 in fourth singles. In fifth and sixth singles, Enrique Flores defeated Max Bogue 6-2, 6-4 and Robin Lansiquot defeated Amos Batiste 7-5, 6-4.
With the win the Raiders improve to 10-4 overall. They are back in action at home on April 28 versus Alfred University at 3:30pm.
