Box Score MARION, Ind. (September 9, 2011) - The Women's Soccer team lost 1-0 in a hard fought game against #17 Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats tonight.
The Wildcats' lone goal came from Kylie Dial in the 61st minute with a shot from inside the 18-yard box. The Raiders stood tall and took the pressure for most of the game as the Wildcats put seven shots on goal.
“We played hard,” said Berg. “There was one mistake and they took advantage of it. I'm proud of the way we played. We need to rest up and recover for another very good team tomorrow.”
The Wildcats defense was the story of the game as Indiana Wesleyan held the Raiders to no shots on goal.
With the loss, the Raiders fall to 3-2-0 and face #12 Spring Arbor University tomorrow at 5pm at Indiana Wesleyan.
