FLUSHING, N.Y. (October 12, 2012) – The Women's Soccer team fell 1-0 to Queens College this afternoon in conference action.
The visiting Redhawks were done in by the game's lone goal from Kristina Ikonomou when she put one past
Breanna Maggio in the 34
th minute off a Knights' corner kick.
Despite Queens putting up 11 shots in the game, the home team had just a slight 4 to 3 edge in shots on goal as Maggio made three saves in the game.
The loss puts the Redhawks at 9-6 overall and 3-3 in the East Coast Conference.
The team continues their road trip with a game this Sunday afternoon at the University of Bridgeport at 3pm.
