ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 4, 2012) – The Men's Tennis team defeated Thruway rivals Daemen College, 9-0 this afternoon in non-conference action.
Charles Farres picked up two shutout wins in first doubles and second singles for the Redhawks. At first doubles, Farres teamed up with
Julio Toledo to win 8-0 over Daemen's Gregory Lowe and Mike Obermeier. At second doubles, Farres took down Zach Kinnaird 6-0, 6-0.
Daemen is a first-year program, playing just their third match in the program's history.
The Redhawks take on Lake Erie College on Sunday in Buffalo, N.Y. at the Miller Tennis Center with the action starting at 4pm.
