OAKDALE, N.Y. (October 5, 2012) – The Women's Soccer team continued their road woes this afternoon, losing 3-0 to Dowling College.
The Redhawks have now lost three straight road games, oddly enough, all have been by the score of 3-0.
The Golden Lions' Kayla Mueger scored a brace for the home team with goals coming in the42nd and 59
th minutes. Mueger also was credited with the assist on the third goal when she connected with Alexis Parrotta six yards in front of the net.
The Redhawks were continually under pressure as Brianna Maggio faced 13 shots, making 4 saves in the game.
With the loss, the Redhawks fall to 8-5 overall and 2-2 in the East Coast Conference.
The team is off tomorrow before facing Molloy College on Sunday at noon in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
