ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (October 7, 2012) – Junior forward Brittany Kinmond scored the lone goal of the game in the 39th minute to lead the Redhawks past Molloy College in conference action this afternoon.

Kinmond, who came off the bench for the first time this season, scored her ninth goal of the 2012 campaign by sending the ball to the back of the net after dribbling around the Lion's goalkeeper Nicole DellaPorte.

The win snaps Roberts Wesleyan's three consecutive road losses and improved their road record to 2-5. The Redhawks are undefeated at home with a record of 5-0.

As a team, the Redhawks outshot Molloy 15 to 6, placing 10 shots on frame and forced DellaPorte to make nine saves.

For the visitors, back-up goalkeeper Marissa Sell played all 90 minutes, making two saves in the game.

The win improved the Redhawks record to 9-5 overall and 3-2 in the East Coast Conference.

Up next for Roberts Wesleyan is another two game road trip next weekend when they face Queens College on Friday, October 12 and the University of Bridgeport on Sunday, October 14.
