SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (0-0/0-0 ECC)
The Redhawks are optimistic as they begin their first season in the East Coast Conference and playing an NCAA Division II schedule.

The team returns an experienced core group, including four starters from last season. Sophomore guard Mike Stone makes his return after being named American Mideast Conference Freshman of the Year last season. Stone was second on the team in scoring after averaging 12.9 points per game and shot 34.5% from beyond the arc.

Senior William Kemp-Harris and junior Patrick Downer will look to build on a solid 2011-12 season as well. Kemp-Harris averaged 9.8 points per game while leading the Redhawks with 45 steals. Downer shot 43.2% from the floor and averaged 8.7 points per game while leading the team in offensive rebounds.

SCOUTING MANSFIELD (0-0/0-0 PSAC)
The Mountaineers will look to improve upon their 9-17 season last year as they return several key players from their 2011-12 squad.

Most notable is sophomore swingman Joe Bell. Last season, Bell led Mansfield in scoring with 16.3 points per game while shooting 57% from the field. The 6-6 forward also led the Mountaineers with 180 rebounds (116 defensive, 64 offensive) last season.

Senior guard Cory Henneghan will look to finish his career on a high note after leading the team from three point range, averaging 39.8% from beyond the arc.

UP NEXT
The Redhawks take on NCCAA East Region rivals, Houghton College, next Tuesday at 8pm. The game is part of a double header as the women's game tips-off at 6pm.

The following weekend, the team will hit the road as they will compete in the annual Gary Miller Classic at Gannon (Pa.) University.  Roberts Wesleyan will square off with the hosts on Friday (Nov. 23) and then either Deamen College or Virginia Union University.
