ROCHESTER, N.Y. (November 15, 2012) – The Women's Basketball team hosts Thruway rivals, Daemen College, this evening in their home opener at 7pm.
Fans are encouraged to wear their UGLIEST SWEATER for a chance to win a prize during a halftime contest.

Tickets for the game are general admission and cost only $3. Students, Faculty, and Staff of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary are free with a valid College ID.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (2-0/0-0 ECC)
Coming into the game, the Redhawks won the Moody Bible Institute tournament in Chicago after picking up wins against Ohio Christian University and Dordt (Iowa) College. Senior
Brittany Williams was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after scoring 29 points and hauling in 14 rebounds over the two games.
Freshman forward
Samantha Courtney has been solid to start her college career by scoring 26 points and grabbing a team-high 19 rebounds. Senior
Sarah Alwardt is second on the team with 17 rebounds.
In the backcourt, sophomore
Ashley Cianfriglia averaged 10.5 points in the Redhawks' first two games while senior
Marissa Bunce led the team with 13 assists.
SCOUTING DAEMEN (7-1/Independent)
The Wilcats will be making their first road-trip for the first time this season, despite having played eight games this season. Their lone loss occurred on Nov. 4 when the team fell to Shawnee State (Ohio) University, 57-39.
Daemen is led on offense by Chelsea Andorka. The senior from Canton, Ohio leads the Wildcats with 124 points, averaging 15.5 points per game and is shooting 48% from the field through eight games. Fellow senior Ellie Allen is right behind Andorka, as she is averaging 12.4 points per game as both have started all eight games for the Wildcats.
Senior forward Monica Kosior has dominated the boards for Daemen, leading the team with 69 rebounds (40 def., 29 off.) this season. The Grimsby, Ont.-native is also averaging 11.0 points per game.
UP NEXT
Roberts Wesleyan will be in action next Tuesday when they host NCCAA East Region rivals, Houghton College in the first game of a double header that evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm with the men's game following at 8pm.
The team will then take part in the annual Wendy's College Classic, which begins Wednesday, Nov. 27 and runs through Saturday, Dec. 1.
